On October 25th, The Aloha Club of Hilo and Hale 'Oluea Clubhouse held an amazing fundraiser, The Clubhouse Comedy Night.

The night featured speeches from various members and staff, telling their stories of success and achievement they have experienced at the Hale 'Oluea Clubhouse.  Their stories were full of emotion and brought many to tears.

 

It was also a night of fun with 4 of the hottest Hilo comedians, Funkadeyla the Story Tella, Little Cariaga, Nehmiah Nihipali and the Hale 'Oluea Clubhouse's very own, Larry the Stolen Cable Guy.  These 4 comedians brought the funny and had all in attendance doubled over in laughter.

The headliner of the night was the legendary Augie T.  He came out of retirement for this one show and did not disappoint.  The man once voted "Funniest Man in Hawaii" lived up to that billing and so  much more.  In a set that was originally scheduled for 30 minutes, Augie kept the laughs going for nearly an hour.  All in attendance agreed that this was a show not to be missed.

The Aloha Club of Hilo/Hale 'Oluea Clubhouse wishes to extend a HUGE mahalo to all of the performers that made this a night to not forget.  Also, big thank you to Dallas, Greg and Linda from The Hilo Hawaiian Hotel for helping us with all of the behind the scenes setup, In His Light Lighting and Eclipse Effect Entertainment for the sound system, lighting and background, and least but not least, all those who attended, making this fundraiser successful and unforgettable.
